The quality of your stay also depends on the quality of your accommodation. Homestay is the ideal option for total immersion in both the French language and culture. We personally select our families to ensure the maximum well-being of our students.
Our families are welcoming, caring and make sure you feel like being at home. They have all signed our quality charter.
About our Host Families
- They live in the city center or in the nearby suburbs of Tours.
- The distance between the homestay and the school depends but is never more than a 25-minute walk or a 20-minute bus ride.
- Families have been chosen based on specific criteria (location, attitude, motivation to host students, cleanliness and furnishings of the room, etc.).
- Host families cannot accommodate more than two students for extended periods.
- Host families cannot host students of the same nationality or native language.
When you register, please let us know if you have any preferences or specific requests: whether you would like to stay with or without children, with or without pets, or if you prefer a retired lady as your host. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. If we cannot fully meet your request, we will inform you before assigning your family.
Host Family Accommodation Includes :
- Half board during the week (breakfast and dinner) and full board on weekends (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
- Laundry services or access to a washing machine
- Wi-Fi Internet access
- Arrival on Sundays and departure on Saturdays
- Upon arrival, your family will pick you up from the Tours train station, Saint Pierre des Corps station, or Tours-Loire Valley Airport
Fees :
- 230 €/week: Single room with half board during the week and full board on weekends.
- 380 € for a couple: Double bed
Studio (or Apartment)
If you prefer independence, we have a list of property owners who offer studios for rent. The studios are usually furnished and equipped, and are located in the city center with easy access. We will contact the owners and handle the formalities for your arrival.
Prices :
Depending on available properties: 500 € to 800 €/month
Hotel Residence
We can also help you book a studio in an apartment-hotel, located just 5 minutes’ walk from the school. These rentals, ranging from studios to 3-room apartments, come with internet access.
The price depends on the size of the rental and the duration of your stay.
